1. Data Usage and Technical Permissions

The extension requests only the minimum technical permissions necessary to deliver 30s video generation automation and raw 1080P media downloads:

A. Local Browser Storage (storage)

Used strictly to save user interface preferences locally on your browser (e.g., chosen aspect ratio, auto-download switch state, master power state, and temporary local download log). This information never leaves your device.

B. Direct Media Downloads (downloads)

Used to save your generated video files directly into your default browser download directory (organized in a subfolder named DolaAi_Videos/). The extension cannot view or access any other files on your computer.

C. Clipboard Interaction (clipboardRead, clipboardWrite)

Allows you to paste prompt text with the "Paste" button or copy download links with the "Copy" button. The clipboard is accessed exclusively upon explicit user action and is never monitored in the background.

D. Network Header Rules (declarativeNetRequest)

Modifies HTTP Referer and Origin headers strictly for official ByteDance/Dola CDN domains (doubaocdn.com, byteintl.com, ibytedtos.com, byteimg.com, volces.com) to enable hotlink-free video downloading. It never touches authentication tokens, passwords, or personal traffic.

E. Active Tab Automation (tabs, scripting)

Communicates between the extension popup and the active Dola AI creation page to input prompt text and listen for video generation completion events on matched domains (dola.com, dola.ai, doubao.com, seaart.ai).

2. Data Sharing and Sale

• No Sale of Data: We never sell, transfer, or license user data to any third parties, brokers, or advertisers.
• No Tracking or Telemetry: No analytics tools (Google Analytics, Sentry, Mixpanel, etc.) are embedded.
• No External Servers: The extension communicates only with the official AI creation platforms you actively browse.

3. User Control & Data Retention

You maintain full control over the extension at all times:

• Turn the extension on or off at any moment via the Master Power Switch.
• Clear download history and local cache anytime with one click in the popup.
• Uninstalling the extension instantly removes all local settings from your browser.
